Teenagers at MBC

MBC Youth Ministry exists to see the Kingdom of God come in and through the lives of young people.
We play our part in this by running youth sessions that are accessible, empowering and relational. We aim for every session to be exciting, equipping and enjoyable, taking hold of Gods promises and enabling young people to participate in the life of the church.

Monday Evenings, for those in School years 7-9
In 'The Hub' on Mondays from 7.00pm to 8.30 pm around 8-10 young people meet to socialise, play games and learn a little more about Jesus. Anyone is welcome and would feel able to engage with our Monday night sessions.
Our aims for these sessions are:
TO BE ACCESSIBLE - Entry Point for non Christian Young People - Friends of Young People
TO BE EMPOWERED - Young People to be more involved in planning and have space to contribute

TO BE RELATIONAL - Focus on leaders building strong relationships with YP and creating space for YP to do the same amongst themselves
Sunday Mornings, for those in School years 7-9

Our aims for the Sunday Mornings are:
TO ENJOY - To see young people find enjoyment in God’s word and his church.
TAKE HOLD OF GOD’S PROMISES - To see young people identify, understand and accept the promises of God for them.
TO PARTICIPATE - To see young people participate in the life of the church and to understand this as their service to Jesus.

Jesus said ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age’

(Matthew 28:18-20).
