More Like Jesus
Jesus picked those that others didn’t choose (e.g. Matthew the tax collector) for his disciples. This is about being a disciple or apprentice rather than discipleship.
 
Being Family
This means family in the fullest sense of the word – a group of people cheering each other on, sharing their ups and downs, and being authentic, vulnerable and real with each other. This doesn’t just mean your small group or your friends but everyone who walks through the door.
 
Centred in Community
We believe that God wants our lives to reflect our love for him wherever we are, in our homes, places of work, those we socialise with and the strangers we meet. God has clearly spoken to us from 1 Peter 2:9. We believe that God speaks to everyone. God said that he knew us before he created the world (2 Timothy 1:9) and that he chose us before he created the world (Ephesians 1:4). He also had already planned a purpose for us, good works that he prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).
